The Move! Ideas Festival 2021 is an event organised by the EXIST project MOVE2startup, the laboratory for creativity-based entrepreneurship at Babelsberg Film University.

As an initiative of the start-up service, we promote creative originality as the basis for media innovation. In this way, we have an impact on the creative industry and well beyond. Saarland University

Saarland University (UdS) is located in the southwest of Germany in Saarbrücken and, with its 17,000 students, is one of the largest universities in Germany. The UdS is mainly known for its top-level computer science research. The research field of "Data Science and Artificial Intelligence" exists here in a unique breadth with 20 professorships and attracts international students and scientists to Saarland. The UdS is an EXIST start-up university and with its active start-up culture, is always at the top of the national rankings. The Contact Point for Knowledge and Technology Transfer (KWT) at the UdS is the right contact for founders.

SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences

Six schools in three cities: Berlin, Dresden and Hamburg. Teachers and students from over 100 countries in 70 accredited German- and English-language degree programmes in management and entrepreneurship, media and creative industries, technology and IT, music, design, film and text.

We work in a network across our different schools. We encourage students from all over the world to search for new knowledge with teachers. Inspiration, interaction and internationality enable a change of perspective.

HBKsaar

Since its foundation in 1989, the Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Saar has developed into one of the most important creative centres in the greater region of Saarland/Rhineland-Palatinate/Alsace/Lorraine/Luxembourg/Wallonia. As a state institution with currently around 470 study places, the HBKsaar offers its students a wide range of qualification opportunities oriented towards current artistic and design requirements. 

The professorships, internationally renowned artists and designers guarantee an education at the highest level. In addition to the regional networking of the study program with scientific and cultural institutions in the Saarland and with business enterprises in the region, the HBKsaar maintains international contacts with art and design colleges in Europe, Asia and North America. The international orientation, practice-oriented teaching, and integrative treatment of artistic design and scientific research make the study program of the HBKsaar interesting for students from many nations.

Trier University of Applied Sciences

Trier University of Applied Sciences is an excellent place for practice-oriented learning, forward-looking research and teaching. With over 7,000 students, it's one of the largest universities of applied sciences in Rhineland-Palatinate. It's a place of innovation. The diverse range of courses on offer, with a total of 85-degree programs at the three study locations of the main campus Schneidershof, Campus Gestaltung and Umwelt-Campus Birkenfeld, is unique. State-of-the-art infrastructure offers students ideal opportunities for learning and research.

One focus of the university is the expansion of start-up activities. It is intended to be a contact point for those interested in founding a company. The goal is to form a strong alliance with KWT Saarland, which will position itself strategically by focusing on Artificial Intelligence, Gaming and Sustainability. The newly emerging start-up region is uniting all partners and increasing technology-based start-ups.

D- Network

The D.Network makes digital transformation successful. For them, the focus is not on technical tools but people. In the beginning, they always ask the question: What for? Sunrise Intelligence UG

Sunrise Intelligence is a young innovative games development studio based in the media city of Potsdam responsible for the production and marketing of games for mobile/console/PC. The goal is to make history with new projects and ideas and establish itself as a

leading player in the video game industry. To provide a creative/tolerant workspace for young talent and allow development with the world's latest and most influential technology. 

Erich Pommer Institut (EPI)

The Erich Pommer Institut (EPI) is one of the leading training providers in the German and European media landscape and an independent industry think tank. With expertise in media law and economics, EPI accompanies the process of digital transformation in the media industry in various formats and publications. The EPI was founded in 1998 as an independent non-profit limited liability company in Potsdam-Babelsberg and is an affiliated institute of the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF and the University of Potsdam.

gamesweekberlin

gamesweekberlin includes event formats for end customers, gamers, game fans, influencers and families, and representatives from the industry, politics and institutions. It has been held regularly since 2014. Most recently, at the Colosseum cinema in Berlin as a 2-day pop-up format. The motto: play.discover.connect.

Medienstadt Babelsberg Entwicklungs GmbH

Founded in 2021. The company’s spotlight is on the Media City in Babelsberg. We are a service provider supporting the site development.

#Zukunft Medienstadt   We aim to build a network to increase Babelsberg's attractiveness. Together with our customers, we work on the visibility of the Media City.

We connect companies to expand their network and establish new business relationships. Promoting the Media City as a business location, we aim to attract national and international players to become part of the growing community in Babelsberg.

The space for #Zukunft Medienstadt is now being created.

We offer services such as event and networking formats, matchmaking, information on space availability, location consulting, and support during the settlement process.

Wirtschaftsförderung Land Brandenburg GmbH (WFBB) is the central point of contact for all issues relating to the promotion of start-ups, business, innovation and foreign trade in Brandenburg. The WFBB is the first point of contact for company settlements, development of an innovative SME sector and for technology-oriented start-ups.
